This 1983 recording of Karajan with the Berlin Philharmonic features the Ninth Symphony of Ludwig van Beethoven. This performance of the "Choral" Symphony, Op.125, features the final chorus from Schiller's "Ode to Joy" performed by soprano Lella Cuberli, alto Helga Müller Molinari, tenor Vinson Cole and baritone Franz Grundheber. |
