Seven Years in Tibet tells the story of Heinrich Harrer, the Austrian mountain climber who escapes World War II by heading into remote Tibet, where he becomes a confidant of spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, in the years prior to invasion by China. The soundtrack to this hit film starring Brad Pitt captures the epic scope of this remarkable true story.

Composed by legendary popular composer and conductor John Williams, the lush exotic score features renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and provides the perfect accompaniment to this sweeping tale of a man's spiritual journey against the backdrop of some of the most tumultuous events of the century.
